Team, tomorrow marks the conclusion of United Fresh LIVE, the first ever virtual tradeshow for the fresh produce industry. While the experience was certainly different from what we are used to, it allowed us the opportunity to connect with others in our industry, with our customers, and even with our own team. Taking to a virtual platform reinforced the importance of adapting and the power of connectivity during these difficult times. While face-to-face interactions can never be replaced, it was wonderful to see how the industry came together despite the many challenges and circumstances that have been presented to us. I would like to thank our team for pulling together a solid presence and for representing our company with the same pride and professionalism that we would at any other tradeshow. While we couldn’t display our top-quality produce, or interact on the same level with our customers, we still made a big impression and our presence was known.
Last week we received an incredible video from the frontline team at MPL6. I would like to personally thank you for showing us your SUNSET pride and the importance of connecting as a team during this time. While this pandemic has forced many of us to be apart, we are all one team. And our team continues to make me proud each day.
