Team, to say I am proud of our team is an understatement. The proactive approach we have taken to COVID-19 has ensured the company’s operations continue to run seamlessly and while also keeping our employees as safe as possible. Throughout the last month, we have shipped out millions of pounds of our fresh produce daily and we have donated 75,000 face shields, 360,000 gloves, over 500 hand sanitizers, and over 1000 bags of fresh produce to our essential service partners in healthcare.
We have implemented many health and safety policies to keep our employees safe as they return to work each day. Daily temperature screenings, mandatory face-coverings for all employees, staggered shifts and break times, implementation of social distancing when possible, and greatly enhancing our cleaning and sanitizing practices are just a few of the ways we are keeping employees safe. I ask that we all continue to do our part in the prevention of spreading this virus by adhering to these policies.
