Ingredients

  • 5-6 SUNSET Wild Wonders Mini Peppers, sliced into thin matchsticks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili crisp
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang, adjust as desired for spice tolerance
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 8 oz gluten-free rice noodles, udon or ramen are best
  • Optional For Serving
    • sliced scallions
    • sesame seeds
    • gluten-free fried onions, optional

Directions

  • Finely mince the garlic and carefully slice the mini peppers into thin matchsticks.
  • Prepare the sauce by whisking together the chili crisp, tamari, gochujang, rice vinegar, sesame oil and the brown sugar in a bowl.
  • Heat the oil in a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and peppers and sauté until the garlic is a deep golden brown and the peppers are tender.
  • Remove from the heat and transfer the garlic and peppers into the bowl with the sauce. Stir to combine.
  • Cook your rice noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, immediately toss them well in the sauce to thoroughly coat.
  • Serve with your desired toppings such as sesame seeds, fresh scallions and crispy onions.
