Ingredients

For the filling:

4 cups WOW® dreamberry strawberries, quartered

3 cups of apples, diced & peeled 

½ lemon, juiced 

¼ cup flour 

2 tbsp maple syrup 

½ tsp cinnamon 

½ tsp vanilla extract

 

For the topping:

1 cup flour 

¾ cup rolled oats 

⅓ cup sugar 

½ tsp cinnamon 

½ tsp vanilla extract 

¼ tsp sea salt 

½ cup butter melted 

⅓ cup walnuts, chopped

Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.  
  2. Create the filling by mixing strawberries, apples, lemon juice, flour, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon & salt. Transfer to prepared baking dish. 
  3. Mix the crisp ingredients until the butter is incorporated into the mixture using hands if needed. 
  4. Scoop crisp on top of the fruit spreading it all around to cover. 
  5. Bake for 35-40 min or until the fruit is bubbling. If you find the top is getting too dark you can cover baking dish with some foil. 
  6. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or yogurt if enjoying for breakfast.
